A Response To Connie

A woman reads a book with her dog on a sunny lawn, perfect for leisure.

Connie,

Thanks for your comments and questions.

We are, of course, sorry to hear about your Poodle.

Firstly, we would recommend changing your vet immediately!

Not only did they make your dog sick with the Bordetella vaccine (they won’t admit that, naturally), and then pumped him full of yet more chemicals, but they had the nerve to administer DHLPP shots (this is the standard 5-way shot for Distemper, Hepatitis, Leptospirosis, Parainfluenza and Parvovirus, that is usually given to puppies).

Besides which, we’re vehemently against vaccines, as you can no doubt tell from this site, but even the vaccine manufacturers stipulate that you must notgive vaccines to dogs that are not healthy. And your vet knows your dog is not well – he’s told you so himself (and he’s the one who caused it).

That can only mean they are after your money, and don’t really care about your dog’s health at all.

As you’ve seen, vaccines cause short-term (and long-term) side-effects, which means more visits to the vet to fix the problems they’ve created, which means more income for them.

This is an insidious practice that is morally corrupt.

The vet’s comment that the problem is with your dog’s immune system is ironic, because chemicals (e.g. those contained in vaccines, dewormers and other chemical-based drugs such as antibiotics) are known to weaken the immune system, contrary to what they will tell you.

For example, look at the long list of side-effects from Prednisone(it’s near the end of the page).

So, the fact that your vet has probably insisted on your dog having booster shots every year, not to mention an unnecessary DHLPP shot at his age and goodness knows how many chemical-based drugs over the years, are more than likely what has contributed to those immune system problems in the first place.

Secondly, we would never recommend annual shots for anything, especially for something as minor as kennel cough. If a dog (or cat) does get this illness, then it’s certainly very annoying for both you and your pet, but it is rarely life-threatening, unlike the vaccines (as you’ll have seen from some of our other readers’ comments and experiences).

Kennel cough is easily and quickly treated using the natural herbal productswe recommend on this site, should your pet be infected.

Now, if you are getting these shots because you need to take your dog a place that requires them, then we would look for somewhere else – there are places such as boarding kennels that are holistic and do not mandate that animals be vaccinated first, although they may be harder to find. (One alternative is to hire a pet sitter, from companies such as Sittercityor Care.com.)

But if you’re doing it because your vet tells you to, then we think we’ve just shown you that they’re not acting with your dog’s best interests at heart.

So, what can you do to get rid of the chemicals that are now in your dog’s system (from both the Bordetella vaccine and the other chemicals, such as antibiotics and Prednisone)?

What you need is our Daily Maintenance Kit, which contains two products that will help flush out those toxins and give his immune system a much needed boost.

What we recommend is to start by giving your dog a five-day detox, and then drop down to a daily maintenance dosage. Full instructions are available for download as soon as you place you order.

The other thing you should look at is your dog’s diet. Most commercial dog food (e.g. the sort of food you’ll find at the major superstores like Walmart) is bad – you wouldn’t believe what they get away with when they make this stuff.

The only food we feed our dogs is called Triumph dog food– so check out the site, and make sure to watch the video near the bottom of the page, as this will both disgust and anger you.

Whatever you decide to do, we hope your Poodle gets wells again soon.
